Eczema is an unpleasant condition that causes red, bumpy, itchy rashes to form on the skin. Sometimes curing eczema requires a combination of treatments as well as lifestyle changes and can be treated effectively with these natural treatments.

2. In a blender or food processor, grind down oats until they are a fine, powdery substance. Pour some powder in a glass of water to make sure the oats absorb the water and create a milky consistency.
3. Cold or cold wet compress are effective in providing relief to severe itchiness. The affected part should be wrapped with thick soft cloth. The cloth should be moistened with cold water every 15 to 30 minutes for two hours at a time. The bandage should be left intact to keep the cloth cold.

5. A poor diet will more than likely contribute to eczema flare ups. Ingesting things including coffee, sweet, greasy, diary, eggs and caffeine will be detrimental in the treatment of eczema. In fact a diet consisting of lots of fish, fresh fruit and vegetables will help treat & overcome eczema.
6. Sprinkle the ground oatmeal into warm bath water. Soak in the tub for 10 to 15 minutes.
7. Oil of oregano is found to be effective to stop eczema itch to some people. Oil of oregano should be from wild oregano. It is anti-fungal and anti-bacteria and is excellent in treating parasites and candida. The concentrated form is found to be more effective in treating eczema. However, you have to be caution that oil of oregano may burn the skin a little. Therefore if you are using it for young children, make sure it is of lower concentration or dilute it with olive oil before you apply on the skin.
8. Mash few almond leaves in water and use it as an ointment on the affected site. It would be helpful in eczema treatment. Thus a very useful home remedy for eczema.
